Lost Paradise
The island became an elite tropical destination with resorts, neighborhoods, entertainment, utilities, ports and its own working community.

LOST PARADISE was once a functioning island destination. What remains now is the result of decades of private expansion, Cobalt intervention, containment failure and the systems that followed.
LOST PARADISE developed as a high-end island destination supported by a permanent civilian population, commercial districts, transport links, utilities and resort infrastructure. It was designed to function independently enough that visitors experienced the island as a complete destination rather than a single property.
Much of the current landscape can still be read through those earlier uses. Civilian facilities were expanded, repurposed or sealed as Cobalt's footprint grew, leaving several generations of infrastructure occupying the same island.

Available records establish a clear sequence of development, restriction and collapse. The causes behind several key decisions remain incomplete or classified.
The island became an elite tropical destination with resorts, neighborhoods, entertainment, utilities, ports and its own working community.
Cobalt arrived as an investor and research partner. Public infrastructure improved while a second, restricted island grew behind fences.
Cobalt began testing human survival under radiation, contamination and extreme environments. The surviving records are incomplete.

Paradise did not end in one instant. Closures, contamination, power failures and military control escalated until civilian evacuation collapsed.
The abandoned island became part of the Repopulation Unit Survival Test. Survivors build, adapt and fight until the Cycle resets.
Scientists and military systems continue operating long after Paradise fell.
Fortified reclamation sites, supply movements and security responses are part of the continuing test environment.
WIPEOUT is Haven's name for the final destabilized phase before a Cycle reset.
Current threats and activities reflect the surviving logistics, test infrastructure, containment failures and recovery systems still operating across the island.

They are not supernatural undead. They are the surviving result of failed Cobalt adaptation and containment programs.

Armed recovery units still move supplies, research material and evidence between active facilities across the island.

The rail network still carries protected Cobalt cargo through the ruins of the island's old freight infrastructure.

The five raid sectors sit inside a former Cobalt structural and weapons test range later absorbed into the R.U.S.T. program.
Survivors reclaimed Haven as the island's protected social and economic center. Paradise Operations now investigates the island while keeping the settlement alive.
The Resort remains a visible record of the destination era. Haven represents the practical infrastructure survivors were able to reclaim. It is now the protected social and economic center of the island and the base of Paradise Operations.

Protected survivor hub, economy center and Operations base.
Protected monument used for combat events and story encounters.
Hostile dungeon and major Project Eden evidence site.
Submerged research site tied to offshore anomalies and Cobalt records.
Archaeological structures on the island predate both the resort development and Cobalt's arrival. No recovered record has yet established whether those sites influenced Cobalt's decision to expand here.
